I feel out of desperation I need your urgent sincere prayers as this matter is too big for my prayers alone – its for my long friend Ali, who has a local court hearing Jan 14th 2010 (Sydney, Australia). He is at fault, its only a very minor matter, (he slapped me and pulled my hair and was charged with assault) however, he is a worry wort and also feels ashamed and I guess afraid (a charge will affect his Permanent Residency application) so won’t admit fault.

Please pray that our Almighty God will INTERCEDE and overcome his pride, lift the veil blinding his eyes, give courage and bring conviction to his heart and thus he do the right thing, That his legal advice, friends encourage him to do right, Pray God sends angels and earthly messengers to minister to him unceasingly. I know God will bless him when he decides what is right. Pray that our Lord will give him a blanket of peace and comfort and assurance immediately when deciding the right and truthful way. We love him dearly and want the best for him. This matter has caused a lot of stress and irritability in our relationship and I am persevering but I need strength patience and wisdom to deal with this too.

I’ve been told I can write a letter to the magistrate, please pray the magistrate will have a forgiving and merciful heart and dismiss the matter. That is what I will be asking for as I have fully forgiven him and it was never my intention for him to be charged. Pray that the flow of grace will have an unmeasured positive effect on my boyfriend.

Please pray that God also heals our relationship which has been under some strain leading up to the hearing. May God’s hand be upon the proceedings and outcome. Pray that Ali will not be tempted of satan to lash out in anger ever again. Jesus the true healer please hear and heal.

He is not yet a Christian but is on his way, please pray regularly also for his salvation.
