My sister Cindy Colench is in need of a liver transplant. She got news recently that her liver disease was too far advanced for treatment, and her only option left is a transplant. It is a long story, but she has worked very hard to straighten out her life, and then she gets this awful news. The same news our Mom got 6 months before she died. However, our Mom was beyond a transplant and was given 6 months to live, and that was about how long she lived after that news 10 years ago this past October 14, 2009. My sister Cindy believes that she waited too long to get her life together, and now she thinks that God is punishing her. I don’t believe that. I believe that as long as there is still breath left in her body, she has HOPE! I tell her to hold close to her heart God’s Word in Jeremiah 29:11. She will be a testimony to the evils of drugs and alcohol…I believe that God will use her in a mighty way one day. She is only 45 years old. She was just released from the hospital after a two day stay, because of other issues that include the liver failure that she is in right now. She is really scared, and my heart is broken. I was with my Mom the last 14 hours of her life. I had my head on her chest when she took her last breath, and I heard her last heartbeat. I am asking for a miracle, and I believe God’s Word to be TRUTH! Jesus told the woman that bled for 12 years that it was her faith that healed her. My sister has faith, but she needs prayer for strength, because the enemy wants to destroy her faith that will heal her. Help me in prayer for my sister? I just got her back, and I am selfish…I am not ready to let her go! Please, everyone deserves a second chance. Jesus answer was 70 x 7…I think I got that right?
