I am 57 and have been diagnosed with macular degeneration. I have been having injections to save my sight, and these seem to be helping greatly. My greatest fear is losing my sight and I become panicky at times. I pray for the grace to deal with this. Praise God in all things.

Church body,

I am writing this e-mail to inform you about my wife Jen (Poland). Jen had some testing done yesterday on her stomach. She has had continued problems with her stomach and the results came back today and they have found something near her liver. Jen was told to come back today for a MRI to look into it further. We are trying to get a prayer request out before the test. Please pray for Jen in this scary time and pray to our Savior that it will be something minor and easily curable. Pray for her comfort and healing. With all my heart thank you!

Matt-an update

Matt’s surgery is tuesday AM and they are attempting to take out his tumor a spot on his liver and burn the 2nd spot on his liver. That one is tricky it is around 3 major blood vessels and is very dangerous. Please ask people to pray that the surgery is a complete success and they get all the cancer out in one shot and that Matt is ok.

Please say a prayer for my marriage, me and for my husband are separated for the past 6 months just after 3 months of marriage and now i’m staying with my parents and for our relationship that it may prosper and grow to the highest heights
of love and closeness i.e. commitment to each other and that the strife, mistrust and lack of union may vanish.
Companionship needs to improve and the talk of marriage reunion
but it’s nothing if it isn’t blessed by God or if he and i don’t stick it out and act in faith on those
still small whisperings of our hearts.

She fell this morning and fractured a disc in her back and is in the hosp. in severe pain. She doesn’t tolerate pain meds well so please pray for quick healing and that the doc’s will be able to find something to help her.

Jen’s brother in law, Matt’s Grandma passed away Monday night. The funeral home is tonight/funeral tomorrow afternoon. He was raised by his grandparents & lived with them his whole life until college & his grandfather is declining fast, which was a sudden turn to dementia within the past year & 1/2. Also Jen’s Dad too– he has not been doing too good lately, he has diabetes and has almost completely lost his eyesight and he has already lost one of his legs. And her mom has pain and the doctors can’t figure out why.

Please continue to lift up my husband Matthew as he tries to beat his colon cancer. He has been very positive and couregeous so far and the prayers have been helping with that. Please continue to pray for a complete cure as quick as possible. He has 2 more months of chemo to go and then if that works he will have surgery and then 4 months of post chemo. Braden DeVore just lost his father in law and his wife is not taking it too well. Furthermore, his wife is expecting their second child that has some complications because of the stress from her father being ill since last October.They are going to the Doctor today to find out if the baby can be delivered on Tuesday. Tom fell off a ladder yesterday at church and he is in serious condition. A spinalinjury, broken sholder blade and ribs, bleeding in the brain. He is non-verbal and doesn’t recognize his family. He is my boss, friend, mentor and the man that taught me everything I know about my profession. He is a God fearing man and is looking forward to his retairment this april. YOUNG MALE INJURED IN A SOCCER GAME WHEN OPPOSING PLAYER CAME DOWN ON HIS HEAD AND NECK WHILE THEY WERE BOTH TRYING TO HEAD THE BALL. UNABLE TO FUNCTION MUCH SUCH SINCE INJURY NO SCHOOL FOR 2 YEARS, UNABLE TO WALK FAR WITHOUT ASSIST., PROBLEMS TOO NUMEROUS TO MENTION AND NO HOPE FROM MOST OF THE DOCTORS ALTHOUGH SOME ARE STILL TRYING TO DO SOMETHING FOR HIM.
